Occupational Therapy (OT) is a client-centered healthcare profession that supports individuals across the lifespan—from infants to older adults—in engaging with the everyday activities, or occupations, that give life meaning, such as eating, working, playing, dressing, and communicating. When illness, injury, disability, or developmental and cognitive challenges interfere with these activities, Occupational Therapists provide interventions to restore, maintain, or enhance function.OTs practice across diverse settings including:

hospitals (pediatrics, neurology, oncology, psychiatry),
rehabilitation centers,
schools,
community health services
private practice
