Speech and Language Pathology
(4 years)
Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) is a client-centered healthcare profession that supports individuals across the lifespan—from infants to older adults—in developing and maintaining effective communication, speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing skills. These abilities are essential for meaningful participation in daily life, including speaking, learning, social interaction, and safe eating. When illness, injury, disability, or developmental and cognitive challenges interfere with these functions, Speech and Language Pathologists provide interventions to restore, strengthen, or enhance communication and swallowing abilities.
SLPs practice across diverse settings including:
hospitals (pediatrics, neurology, oncology, psychiatry),
rehabilitation centers,
schools,
community health services,
private practice
Through extensive clinical placements, our students gain invaluable practical experience and are inspired to push boundaries by engaging in innovative research. We prepare graduates not only to meet the future of rehabilitation sciences but to lead it. They leave our institution with advanced skills, profound knowledge, and the confidence to excel in this fast‑evolving field—emerging as leaders and catalysts for transformation. Paid House Jobs are available after graduation to the students of PSRD CRS.
